KGL Holding being a Corporate Associate member of the American Business Council, Kuwait (ABC-K) has been supporting the group by sponsoring its events for this year - Thanksgiving Day that was held at the US Embassy on November 23, 2010. The Thanksgiving Day is celebrated annually as a national holiday in the United States to commemorate the harvest reaped by the Plymouth Colony in 1621 after a winter of great starvation and privation. The festive occasion was attended by Counselor for Economic Affairs Oliver B. John who represented US Ambassador Deborah K. Jones, KGL Holding Chairman Ali E. Dashti along with KGL Executives, US military and ABC-K members.
Moreover, the company sponsored ABC-K’s Annual Christmas Party on December 10, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The event was marked by the singing of Christmas Carols by the American School of Kuwait (ASK) Choir, gift-giving and a wide array of entertainment, bringing Christmas cheers to the attendees. Everyone had a great time feeling the Christmas spirit away from home. ABC-K Chairman Mr. Gregg Stevens thanked KGL Holding for its unwavering support.
