​ As part of its commitment in promoting education globally, KGL is a proud donor to the Pieter Ombregt Endowed Scholarship Fund that was founded in honor of Ombregt, a talented and prolific Photography major student at the Columbia College and a gifted cyclist who passed away on September 12, 2007 in a bicycle racing accident. His photography has been featured in The Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago, C-Spaces Gallery in Chicago, the Scenario Gallery in Bergen, Norway, and other galleries and exhibits. In 2010, KGL sponsored Prof. Karel Cool in his Paris marathon that generated donation to the Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship is merit based and awarded every year to a third or fourth year student at the Fine Arts Photography Department at the Columbia College Chicago, U.S.A.
