Kuwait and Gulf Link Holding (KGL Holding) handed a donation check on October 4, 2010 to the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) for the flood victims of Pakistan.
The donation came from the KGL Holding employees from various Business Units who took part in the fund drive dubbed 'Lend a Hand to Pakistan' that was initiated by the company during the last 10 days of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The donation from the employees amounting to 10,000 US dollars was matched by the KGL Holding Management. The $20,000 donation was handed over by Wataniya Environmental Services Vice Chairman & Managing Director Shahad Saeed Dashti to Kuwait Red Crescent Society Honorary Treasurer Saad A Al-Nahedh in the presence of KRCS Director of Disaster Management and Emergency Yousef Al-Merag and KGL Holding Communication & PR Manager Saqer Al-Rashoud.
KGL Holding thanked all its employees for their donation that would help alleviate the plight of the people in Pakistan which is in line with its corporate citizenship program.
