KGL Holding sponsored the Thanksgiving Day organized by the American Business Council, Kuwait (ABC-K) that was held at the US Embassy on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. The Thanksgiving Day is celebrated annually as a national holiday in the United States to commemorate the harvest reaped by the Plymouth Colony in 1621 after a winter of great starvation and privation.

On behalf of the US Embassy in Kuwait, Counselor for Economic Affairs Oliver B. John who represented US Ambassador Deborah K. Jones welcomed all the guests to the festive occasion. The event was attended by KGL Holding Chairman Ali E. Dashti along with KGL Executives and selected US Military.
