On April 24th 2008, IAP (International American Projects) held an award ceremony at their truck site for contractors supplying assets to the US military, for equipment movement to and from Iraq. KGL TC was recognized for the company's contribution and support during the November 2007 US military surge, whereby KGL TC was recorded as the largest movement of military equipment since the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During that time KGL-TC was the largest supplier of HETS (heavy equipment transporters) and Flat bed truck and trailer units to IAP, that consisted of over 460 assets on task every day over the three month surge period.
