KGL Logistics through the ABJ Engineering and Contracting Co. won the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operation (ADCO) project that covers the transportation by sea and road freight including customs clearance services of 52 units of desalters and pressure vessels from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi. The project total volume is 20,588 cbm with a total weight of 2,0307 tons. The operation is divided into four phases; the first and second phases included the transportation by road while the third and fourth phases will be transportation by sea. The last phase is set to be completed by May. For the sea freight transportation, the units were loaded by RoRo operations using a hydraulic trailer of 40 meters in length and a special barge of 95 meters in length and 35 meters wide. The Stevedoring service was handled in cooperation with KGL Ports International (KGL PI).
