Fadhel Albaghli

Chairman & Managing Director

Fadhel Albaghli serves as the Chairman Managing Director of KGL Ports International (KGL IP), a post he has held since April 2009. Fadhel is responsible for leading and overseeing the operations and affairs of the Board and facilitates proper governance. He develops the strategic plan for the Ports activity disciplines at KGL IP, ranging from the development, operations and management of Ports, and provides direction to achieve the company’s strategy, goals and objectives.

Fadhel brings over extensive experience in several areas in Ports Management and Operations, serving with Kuwait Ports Authority (1982 - 1996), in which he held several positions as Director of Shuaiba Port Container Terminal & Director of Shuwaikh Port Container Terminal. Fadhel is a specialized Senior Officer in Ports and joined KGL group in 2000. Prior to being assigned as Chairman, Fadhel was the Vice Chairman and Chief Business Officer of KGL IP.

Fadhel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business Management/ Marine & Coastal Zone Management, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Miami, School of Marine & Atmospheric Science in 1981 & Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1978, respectively. Fadhel also possesses a Diploma in Port Operations, Planning, Development & Port Management in 1984 from the Port of Felixtow Institute in England, and a Diploma in Port Management from the Institute of Singapore in 1983. Fadhel is a member of the US Naval Academy in Maryland, as well as the International Oceanography Foundation in Miami, USA. Fadhel is currently an Executive Advisory Board member at KGL Holding.

Allan Rosenberg

Chief Executive Officer

Allan Rosenberg serves as the Chief Executive Officer of KGL Ports International (KGL IP), a post he has held since April 2009. Being the CEO of KGL IP, Allan develops the company's strategic plan and the direction needed to achieve their goals and objectives. He also provides leadership to position KGL IP at the forefront of the Ports Management industry.

Prior to his current role, Allan was the Chief Executive Officer of KGL Shipping, a post he has held since May 2008. Allan brings over 35 years of shipping experience from Maersk. For the past 23 years, he has been Country Manager in various markets and was involved with corporate management on a regional level. In 2003, he was honored to serve for a short time with the US-led Coalition Forces in Iraq, assigned as Chief of Staff for Southern Iraq, based in Basra.

Being a Shipping Executive, Allan earned a Maritime Law degree from the Commercial College in Copenhagen, and supplemented that education with various business courses, including education from IMD in Lausanne. Allan is currently an Executive Advisory Board member at KGL Holding.
