KGL International for Ports, Warehousing and Transport (KGL IP), a sister company of KGL Holding, was established in 2004, inheriting over 40 years of experience from Kuwait and Gulf Link Transport Company (KGL). The company is headquartered in Kuwait, and has running operations within the UAE and Egypt.

KGL IP’s core business covers the development, operations, and management of container terminals and Roll-On-Roll-Off (RORO) operations. Within the region, KGL IP manages and operates in the terminal at Shuaiba Port in Kuwait. The company has also designed, constructed, operated and managed the container terminal at Saqr Port in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, providing its clients within this region with a further option for a port destination. In Egypt, KGLIP is one the major shareholders in Damietta International Ports Company (DIPCO), the latter being in the final stages of constructing a major container terminal within Damietta to be run upon completion under KGLIP management.

With the aim to provide high quality services to its clients, KGL IP adopts the highest and most advanced technology systems allowing the company to accommodate the most recent and advanced requirements within its operations in terms of optimization. This technology also allows the company to interlink with other major ports in the region and provides an added advantage in terms of reporting and providing services to its customers.
