In November 2009, KGLIP was awarded a contract for manufacturing, supplying and operating of gantry cranes for the Shuwaikh Port in the State of Kuwait, where the contract value is worth USD 154 million over 5 years.

The scope of the project is to rehabilitate berths 10, 12 and 13 and to manufacture and supply:

• 6 STS cranes


• 6 RTG cranes


• 9 reach stackers


• 4 empty handlers


• 70 terminal tractors and chassis
