The Kuwait and Gulf Link Transportation Group “KGL” participated in the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of India on August 15 at the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, in the presence of KGL employees and its buses, which were decorated in honor of this special day..
KGL said in a press statement, that the “KGL Group” has trade and investment relations with the Republic of India, extending from the establishment of the group’s commercial entity in 1954 by the late founder Ismail Dashti. This special relationship has continued despite the impact of the epidemic and the associated precautionary restrictions implemented by the authorities. Whether in India or Kuwait, KGL Group has remained a constant and reliable partner with India in maintaining its cooperation among the group and business entities.
From his side, Communications and Public Relations Manager Hussain Arab confirmed that the KGL Group contributed to sponsoring the ceremony by presenting more than 100 buses that included advertisements for the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of India, in order to strengthen and expand a strong and dynamic long-term partnership with Kuwait. He further pointed out that the relations between the two countries are rooted in history.
Arab explained that the past two years have been challenging for the KGL Group and the rest of the private sector worldwide, as the COVID-19 pandemic posed a threat to commercial and human entities, which we have overcome steadily and strongly due to the support we provided to the healthcare infrastructure through KGL equipment and buses.
Arab noted, “The Indian community in Kuwait are partners in the success of the KGL Group, overcoming crises and improving the quality of its services to the community, and we will continue to do so in the future.”
