KGL organized a vaccination campaign for its employees
The Kuwait and Gulf Link Transportation Group “KGL” in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, organized a campaign to vaccinate its employees along with employees of subsidiaries and associate companies in support of the Ministry of Health’s measures to establish herd immunity and limit the spread of the Corona virus “Covid 19”.
More than 6 months ago, in an effort to vaccinate more than 4,000 employees, KGL launched the “immunity initiative” as part of the group’s social responsibility towards its employees, partners and community.
In a press statement, the company said, “KGL is keen on following the necessary health precautions and measures in place by the Ministry of Health, and in compliance with the spirit of responsibility as a national company. Since the onset of the pandemic, KGL has been utilizing its capabilities in cooperation with various ministries and government agencies, to ensure the health and safety of citizens and residents in Kuwait.”
Communication and Public Relations Manager at the KGL Group, Hussain Arab, said that the process went smoothly and easily, in light of the collective cooperation between the group’s employees, the Ministry of Health, and to all the heroic frontliners, all of whom deserve our utmost gratitude for their efforts. We join them in the hope that total herd immunity will be achieved during the coming period.
Arab concluded, “The group considers itself a supportive partner of the Ministry of Health and other state institutions in protecting society from the effects of the pandemic. We have been keen since the early days to respond effectively to the efforts of the various ministries and institutions in the country, by providing 24 volunteer initiatives and providing our buses and services, which has contributed to mitigating the impact of the pandemic and limiting its health, economic and social repercussions.”
